Net Generated Revenue
Burro calculates the net generated revenue (NGR) as the sum total of all associated rake and tournament fees generated by each player on a calendar month*. As per the industry standard, Burro Poker will deduct the following from each revenue payment:
- Bonuses and promotional amounts paid to players on behalf of Burro Poker.
- Any fraud attributed monies.
- Transactions that are reversed on behalf of Burro Poker or the player, including charge backs (monies reversed on behalf of the card-holders bank) and revenue deemed uncollectable.
- Processing charges related to your player’s Cashier transactions.
- Any monies paid on behalf of Burro Poker to player’s, paid in order to resolve a dispute.
* Associated Rake refers to the rake we attribute to real money players who were dealt cards at the beginning of the hand, regardless of their contribution to the pot.
As an example: If a table has 10 players where some players fold without contributing anything to the pot but the rake is still paid for this hand (say it’s $2 for this instance), all players would have an associated rake $0.20.
The equation is:
Associated Rake = (rake for the hand) / (number of players dealt cards in that hand).
Commission = [25% * (Associated Rake + Tournament fees - Costs)]

Anyone can, as long as you’re over 18 years of age.
Are there any fees required to become a Burro Poker Affiliate?
Absolutely not. Becoming a Burro Poker Affiliate is always free.
How does Net Generated Revenue (NGR) work?
If your real money players generate NGR that is $10,000 or less in a calendar month you will earn 25% of the NGR for that month. However, if your real money players generate NGR that is between $10,001 and $20,000 in a calendar month you will earn 30% of the NGR for that month and, if they generate NGR that is over $20,001 you will earn 35% of the NGR they generated for the month.
How do you calculate NGR?
Burro Poker calculates the Net Generated Revenue as the sum total of all associated rakes* and tournament fees that your real money players generate in a calendar month. From this we deduct Costs which include:
1. Bonuses and promotional amounts paid to your real money players on behalf of us.
2. Any fraud attributed monies.
3. Transactions that are reversed on our behalf or that of the card-holder’s bank (called charge backs).
4. Processing charges with regard to your real money player’s real money transactions.
5. Any revenue deemed ‘uncollectible’ by us that was attributed to your real money players.
6. Any monies paid on our behalf to your real money player to resolve a dispute.

How is payment handled?
Payments are deposited into your Burro Poker Affiliate account by the 15th day of each month for the previous month’s revenue. Once deposited, you may transfer them to your Burro Poker Player account or withdraw any portion of it via one of our payment processors.
Where do I check on my stats?
As soon as you log into your affiliate account, you will be able to analyze all your traffic with our top of the line affiliate system.
What is a tracking code?
This is a unique URL code we create in order to track clicks on your banners. Once a banner is clicked and a player enters Burro Poker and signs up, we’ll know that player came from your site. Please note: if a player enters another Sign-Up code or a friend’s E-mail address, your URL will not be credited for the sign up.
What is a Sign-Up code?
When players sign up for an account at Burro Poker, there is a field that prompts them to type in their Sign-Up Code. You can create your own Sign-Up code (eg. “FreeCake”) and prompt your players to enter it, depending on your marketing strategy. Please note: this is not a deposit bonus. A Sign-Up is an added feature to ensure you get credit for players that you refer.
Do I have to have a website to be a Burro Poker Affiliate?
You do not need to have a website to be a Burro Poker Affiliate. Simply sign up and create your own Sign-Up code. You can then place this code onto marketing material to hand out to players, send through E-mails, etc.
